NMMRA Lucas Oil POWRi Press Release

Dear all NMMRA drivers, crew and fans.

We are very concerned about each and every ones well being through this difficult time. We are in the midst of a global pandemic that has severely affected lives, social interactions, business and sporting events around the nation. While we remain optimistic about the eventual containment and suppression of COVID-19, it has resulted in significant difficulties for some of our members. With that being said, the board members have voted to postpone the start of our 2020 points season until April 11th at Sandia Speedway. We are hoping that this current situation will be much better by then and we can begin to recover the lives we hold dear.

If the races at Vado Speedway resume in time for the POWRI Boarder Tour 360 Non Wing Sprint Cars to run on April 4th, we encourage those that can participate do so. We will not be counting this as a points race but do want to support Vado speedway.

Let’s stick together and support one another, and remember that we will persevere through this adversity, and once again compete and enjoy the spirit of competition when this moment is behind us.

Thanks
NMMRA Board members
